FORMAT AND RULES
Qualifying: Starts on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 5:00 PM till 11:00 PM (Last Entry)
During Ramadan, starts at 6:00 PM till 1:00 AM (Last Entry)
Last Qualifying Round Dates: Thursday, May 23, 2019
FINALS: Friday, May 24, 2019
HOW TO QUALIFY?
· Open to all bowlers – Mix Division A & B
· Will bowl total of 6 games (3 games each series)
· Division A – NO handicap/ Scratch (with an average of 180 and Above)
· Division B – With handicap
· Division B – Bowlers with an average of 179 and below.
· Entering Average – Ave from QBF or QBC Clubs from year Ramadan Tournament 2018 until March 2019 (Min. 18 games)
· Maximum Hdcp - 10 points per game (please see handicap range table below)
· Kids (13 yrs old & below) - Hdcp + 2 bonus points
· For overseas bowlers and bowlers with no record to any club / league - automatically Division A.
QUALIFYING TIME: DAILY (Start at 6:00 PM till 1:00 AM - last entry, NO PRACTICE ALLOWED IN THE
TOURNAMENT LANES.)
Note: Tablets will be in locked mode during try out, only designated person allowed to make score corrections.
FINALS
STEP 1 –
TOP 32 (Carry over score from Qualifying
Standings)
- 12 Bowlers Division A + 20 Bowlers Division B
- Will play 6 games; carry over score from the qualifying results.
- Top 4 from A and Top 8 from B will advance to step 2.
Step 2 – 12 Bowlers
Top 4 from Division A
- Will play total of 2 games, starting from scratch
- Bowlers with highest series (Pos 1) will advance to Finals
- Losers will meet losers of Div. B in step 3
Top 8 from Division B
- Will play total of 2 games, starting from scratch
- Bowlers with highest series (Pos 1) will advance to Finals
- Losers will meet losers of Div. A in step 3
Step 3 – FINALS
- Losers from Division A and B will play 1 game for positions 3 – 12.
- Div A Winner vs. Div B Winner – will play 2 games (Position 1 – 2)
TIE BREAKING RULES:
- Q-Rounds - Pos. 1 & 2 and Pos. 32 & 33 = Highest game among the 6 games series.
- Step 1 & 2 – one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played until the tie is broken.
- Step3 - one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.
Lane Assignment and Lane Movement
- During Qualification - minimum 2 players per lane
- Frequency of Movement during Finals (Top 32) - after each game.
- Movement Method - left lane players moving left / right lane players moving right
- Number of lanes to move - 2 lanes during Finals (Top 32)
ENTRY POLICY
1. Maximum number of entries - unlimited
2. Will bowl 2 sets of 3 games (total of 6 games)
3. Cancellation of game is possible BUT has to start a new squad.
4. Bowler who cancelled squad has to wait until the rest of the players in his lane were completed the current squad. Otherwise, he has an option to transfer to other lane.
5. Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
6. Re-entry procedure - using the first come, first serve basis and the availability of lanes
7. Maximum of 3 bowlers per lane to have a re-entry. Tournament lanes cannot be used for practice.
8. Tournament Committee reserves the right to decline entries based on availability
9. Submitting the entry forms and fees means a bowler agreed to abide by Tournament rules and policies.
10. During Qualification - bowlers present on a tryout cannot refuse someone to join in his lane.
11. A bowler with NO record from any bowling Club will automatically be classified as A.
NOTE: All entry forms must bear the signature of the players (QBC AUDIT)
Call for reserved - TOP 32-- 5 minutes before the practice starts

QBC / QBF RULES TO FOLLOW
Reminders:
- No caps, hats, short shorts, tank tops or halter tops during Finals
- No jeans or "maong" pants during Finals
- NO CREDIT PLEASE
- Observe bowling etiquette
