Date & Time: SEPTEMBER 6 – 9, 2020 @ 6:00 PM

 

Eligibility: Open to all QBF Members with active membership.

 

FORMAT: Singles

·         Will be divided into two (2) groups – Group A & Group B

·         Will play total of 10 games (5 games per day).

·         Days 1 & 3 will be played by Group A (September 6 & 8).

·         Days 2 & 4 will be played by Group B (September 7 & 9).

·         Each group is comprised of 30 players (total of 60 players). 

 

Top 16 – Match Play

·         Positions (1-16), (2-15), (3-14), etc…..

·         Will play one (1) game.

·         Winners (8) will advance to the next round. Losers out.

 

Top 8 – Match Play

·         Positions (1-8), (2-7), (3-6), (4-5)

·         Will play one (1) game.

·         Top 2 among the winners will play in the final round. Positions 3-4 will receive cash prize.

 

Finals:

·         Position 1 vs. 2

·         Will play 1 game

 

LANE MOVEMENT: Transfer of lane every game (L-L and R-R).

 

TIE BREAKER METHOD:

             Qualifying and Finals: Last frame

         

Registration Fee:

             Qatari – 50 QR

       Non Qatari – 100 QR

REMINDERS:

·         Servicing of ball: Allowed only either before or after each game.

·         Bowling Attire: Shirts / polo shirts / slacks or any long pants. 

·         NO JEANS ALLOWED.

·         Tournament official will do the lane draw at the counter.

·         NO SMOKING while the tournament is ongoing. Anyone found violating this rule will be automatically out from the tournament.

·         Do not place ball puffs on top of the consoles.

·         Kindly observe slow bowling procedures

 

*** In case of any discrepancy between the translated versions of these rules, the Arabic version shall prevail and the decision of the Tournament Director is final.
