How to Qualify?

A ) 24 players from the general standing
-
B ) 2 top Qatari youth players after top 24 general standing

C ) 2 top any Qatari players after top 24 general standing
- D ) 4 players from Desperado squad
STEP 1 FINAL
-
26 players (18 players from A (Pos 7-24) + 2 players from B + 2 players C + 4 players from D will play 6 games starting from scratch. The top
10 will qualify for Step 2.

Players positioned 1 to 6 in the General Standing will qualify for Step 2.
-
Players not continuing to Step 2 will be ranked Pos 17–32.
STEP 2 FINAL
- 16 players will bowl 6 games starting from scratch. Top 4 will qualify for Step 3. Players not continuing for Step 3 will be ranked 5-16 according to their position in their standing from Step 2.
STEP 3 FINAL

2 Matches(seeded 1 vs. seeded 4) and (seeded 2 vs.
seeded 3) will bowl 2 games total pinfall.
Only 2 winners will continue to Step 4. Players not continuing to Step 4 will be ranked pos 3-4.
STEP 4 FINAL

1 Match (Winner vs. Winner) 2 games total pin fall.

Tournament Tie Rules |
|

Qualification + Step 1 & 2 |
The highest ranked player will be the player with the highest last game. If a tie still exists the highest ranked player with the highest 2nd last game, the player with the highest 3rd last game etc. |

One (1) ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated till the tie is broken. |

1. Sanction |
This tournament is sanctioned by QBF, FIQ-WTBA, Asian Zone & FIQ-WTBA world |

2.Eligibility |
This is a single tournament that is OPEN to ALL |
|
Exception: ü Any bowler from any reason that are suspended from its federation or association. ü Any bowler under 14 years of age. |

3.Register for Squad |
Qualification: ü Will be played in 3 separate squads (A, B & C) with a maximum of 60 players in each squad (a total of 180 players). A player can choose to play either in A Squad, B Squad, C Squad or all squads. You can only register a squad / squads via our official website (www.qatarbowlingfederation.com). Last date to register online is February 21, 2015. Registration in the bowling center will be accepted depending on the available slots on each squad. Please check our website to know the squad availability. Desperado: ü Any player that has registered and played for a squad is entitled to play the Desperado squad. |

4. Lane Movement |
Qualification: ü 6+6 games (total of 12 games) in a single Squad. Players move after every game. Left move to left, right move to right. |
|
Finals: ü Step 1 & 2 - 6 games will move left / right after every game. ü Step 3 & 4 - 2 games will be played on the same pair of lanes. |

No servicing of bowling balls between the games. It could be done after the squad. |
