Qualification:
3 Separate squads –A, B, & C (2 days qualifying each squad. Playing 8 + 8 games total of 16 games)
ü February 25, 2016 – Squad A – 8 Games
ü February 26, 2016 – Squad A – 8 Games
ü February 27, 2016 – Squad B – 8 Games
ü February 28, 2016 – Squad B – 8 Games
ü February 28, 2016 – Squad C – 8 Games
ü February 29, 2016 – Squad C – 8 Games

Ladies: +8 Hdcp per game

How to Qualify?

A. 25 players from the general standing (Pos 1 - 7) + (Pos 8 Qatari) + (Pos 9 - 25)

B. Top 3 from Qatari players after Top 25 General Standing

C. 4 players from Desperado squad

STEP 1

v 24 bowlers (17 players from A (Pos 9-25) + 3 players from B + 4 players from C will play 8 games starting from scratch. The top 12 (Pos 9 - 20) will qualify for Step 2 + 4 bowlers (Pos 5 - 8) from General Standing.

v Players not continuing to Step 2 will be ranked Pos 21–32.

Note: Top 16 ABF Bowlers will receive points (men and women) base on the ABF Ranking Points.

STEP 2

v 16 players= 4 players (Pos 5-8) from General Standing + 12 players (9-20) from Step 1) will bowl 8 games starting from scratch. Top 8 (Pos 5-12) will qualify for Step 3.

v Players not continuing for Step 3 will be ranked Pos 13-20.

STEP 3

v 12 players= 4 players (Pos 1-4) from General Standing + (Top 8 from Step 2 (Pos 5-12)

v Will play 8 games.

v Pos 1-4 will continue to Step 4. Players not continuing will be ranked pos 5-12.

STEP 4 (SEMI FINAL)

v 2 Matches (Pos 1 vs. Pos 4) and (Pos 2 vs. Pos 3)

v Will play total of 2 games

v Winner will proceed to Final - Step 5. Loser will be ranked 3 - 4

STEP 5 (FINAL)

v Will play total of 2 games

v Players will be ranked Pos 1 and 2

Tournament Tie Rules
Qualification + Step 1, 2 & 3	Player with the highest game on the last game. If tie still exist, the highest game on the 2nd last game, the highest 3rd last game, so on and forth till the tie is broken
Step 4 & 5 +	9th and 10th frame, repeated till the tie is broken.
Desperado	One ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.

Tournament Rules
1. Sanction	This tournament is sanctioned by FIQ-WTBA, Asian Zone & WORLD BOWLING
2. Eligibility	This is a mix single tournament that is OPEN to ALL
2. Eligibility	Exception: Any bowler from any reason that are suspended from its federation or association. Any bowler under 14 years of age.
3. Register for Squad	Qualification: Will be played in 3 separate (A, B & C) Squads with a maximum of 60 players in each squad (a total of 180 players). A player can choose to play either in A Squad, B Squad, C Squad or all squads. You can only register a squad / squads thru our official website (www.qatarbowlingfederation.com). Last date to register online is February 24, 2016. Registration in the bowling center will be accepted depending on the available slots on each squad. Please check our website to know the squad availability. Desperado: Any player that has registered and played for a squad is entitled to play the Desperado squad.
4. Lane Movement	Qualification: 8+8 games (total of 16 games) in a single group. Players move after every game. Left move to left, right move to right. Desperado 1 game
4. Lane Movement	Finals: *Step 1, 2, & 3* - 8 games will move left / right after every game. *Step 4 & 5* - 2 games will be played on the same pair of lanes.

Important Reminders
Attire/ Dress	Tournament Uniform (polo shirt) / slacks or any long pants. *NOTE:* NO JEANS ALLOWED
Lane Draw	Tournament official will do the lane draw at the bowing counter
Qualifying Results	End of each squad/ Will be posted on the official website/ score board
Awarding of Prizes	Before the start of the squad
Smoking	Anybody found smoking while the game is in progress will be automatically out from the tournament.
Ball Puffs	Not to be placed on top of the keyboards.
Servicing of Bowling Ball	No servicing of bowling balls between the games. It could be done after the squad.
Slow Bowling	Kindly observe slow bowling procedures
