HOW TO QUALIFY?

• Open to all Bowlers
• Will bowl 3 games per squad
• To qualify, must bowl total of 9 games (Equivalent to 3 Squads)
• Ladies Handicap – 7 points
• Kids – NO Handicap

 

ENTRY POLICY

• Maximum number of entries - unlimited 
• Cancellation of game is possible BUT must start a new squad
• Bowler who cancelled squad must stop until the rest of the players in his lane completed the current squad. Otherwise, he has an option to transfer to other lanes available
• Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE
• Re-entry procedure - first come, first serve basis and depending on the availability of the lanes
• Maximum of 3 bowlers per lane. Tournament lanes cannot be used for practice
• A bowlers present on a tryout cannot refuse someone to join in his lane
• Tournament Committee reserves the right to decline entries based on availability 
• Submitting the entry forms and fees means a bowler agreed to abide by tournament rules and policies. 

 

STEP 1: TOP 32

• Top 30 from the qualifying standings + Top 2 Youth, comprising of 32 bowlers
• Will play total of 8 games – Carry over scores
• Top 16 bowlers will advance to Step 2.

 

STEP 2: TOP 16

• Will play a Round Robin Match
• Top 5 bowlers (with highest total pin falls + bonus points) will advance to the Semi-Final round

STEP 3: SEMI-FINALS

• Position 3, 4, and 5 will play 1 Game in a single machine (1 pair of lanes).
• The winner in the match will play 1 Game against Pos. 2.
• The winner in this match will advance to the Final round to play with Pos. 1

 

STEP 4: FINALS

• Will play 1 Game

 

TIE BREAKING RULES:

• Qualifying: The highest series among the 3 squads
• Step 1 (Top 32): The highest game on the last game
• Step 2 (R. Robin): Last winner on the last match so on so forth until the tie is broken
• Step 3 & 4: One ball roll off

 

 

YOUTH CATEGORY - FINALS

• Top 4 bowlers will play 1 Game
• Pos 1 vs. Pos 4 & Pos 2 vs. Pos 3
• Winner vs. Winner – will play 1 Game

 

Prizes for Youth Category:

• 1st Place – 4,000 QAR
• 2^nd Place – 3,000 QAR
• 3^rd Place – 1,500 QAR
• 4^th Place – 1,500 QAR

REMINDERS:

NOT ALLOWED: Shorts, Sleeveless, Sando, Maong pants, Capri pants, Jeans, head covers, caps

Smoking in the middle of the game is NOT ALLOWED

Using electric cigarette NOT ALLOWED

 

 

- LADIES DIVISION -

 

Rules for Ladies Division:

 

Top 4 Ladies from the Qualifying round will bowl directly for the Top 4 finals after Top 32 on Tuesday – December 14, 2021.

 

TOP 4 LADIES:

·        Will play 1 game

·        Pos 1 vs. Pos 4 and Pos 2 vs Pos 3

·        Winners in this round will play for the Final round

 

FINALS: WINNER VS. WINNER

·        Will play 1 game

- YOUTH DIVISION -

·        Winners in this round will play for the Final round
