Format and Rules
DATES: Qualifying rounds will start on the 1st day of Ramadan from 6pm till 1am (Last
entry).
LAST QUALIFYING ROUND DATES:
DIVISION A – Aug 14 @1am
DIVISION B - Aug 13 @1am
QUALIFYING ROUNDS:
DIVISION A - SCRATCH GAME
* Open to all bowlers
* Div. B bowlers allowed to join but has to play scratch
* Ladies gets - 8 handicap/game
DIVISION B - HANDICAP GAME
* Open to all bowlers w/ an average of 185 and below
* Entering Ave--total ave. from QBC/QBF clubs of the year 2011-2012 (minimum 9 games)
* Maximum hdcp - 10 (see graph next page) ladies and children 13 below - hdcp + 3
QUALIFYING TIME: DAILY (from 6pm till 1 am as last entry,
NO PRACTICE ALLOWED IN THE TOUR LANES)
NOTE: keyboard console will be on locked mode during try out, only designated person allowed to make score corrections
FINALS

from each div. will play 6 games, carry over score, changing lanes every 2games |

plays a total of 6 games, starting from scratch, changing lanes every 2 games |

STEP LADDER FINALS (1ST MATCH - 1 GAME) POS. 1 shld be beaten twice |
TIE BREAKING PROCEDURE
Q-rounds - pos. 16 - game of the 6th game, then 5thgame & etc. of the game involved
TOP - 8 - game 6th game then 5th games & etc. of the game involved
Grand finals - one ball shot till the tie is broken
LANE ASSIGNMENT AND LANE MOVEMENT

*Frequency of Movement - after each second game and during final rounds |

* Movement Method - left lane playerss moving left / right lane players moving right |
|
* Number of lanes to move - 2 lanes during finals |
ENTRY POLICIES

* Maximum # of Entries - unlimited |

* Cancelling of Re- entries - possible |
|
* Re - entry procedure - using the first come first serve basis and the availability of lanes. |
|
* Maximum 3 bowlers per lane to have a re-entry. Tournament lanes cannot be used for practice. |
|
* Tour Committee reserves the right to decline entries based on availability. |
|
* Submitting the entry forms & fees means a bowler agreed to abide by tournament rules & policies. |
|
* During Qualification - bowlers presently on tryout cannot refuse if an additional entry is added to qualify. |
|
|
NOTICE : All entry forms must bear the signature of the players (QBC AUDIT).
